Taos Pueblo, Los Ranchos de Taos, Truchas, Chimayo

This trip includes walking at each of the stops. Allow 8-9 hours from Albuquerque. Walking on dirt paths. There are several routes to and from Taos. We have to discuss how long you want to be out and what you might like to see. We can meet in Taos, Santa Fe or Albuquerque. Generally speaking Taos Pueblo is closed January and February. Taos Pueblo also closes for ceremonial purposes at certain other times of the year. Locations available besides the pueblo include San Francisco de Asis (above) one of the most photographed and painted buildings in North America. Georgia OKeefe and Ansel Adams have produced iconic images of the church. El Santuario de Chimayo, the high road to Taos, Truchas Classical Gas Museum (when open) and the Taos Gorge Bridge over the Rio Grande.

There is an admission at the Pueblo $20.00 adult and it closes at 500PM.
